Houston Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club

Greetings,
I’m James "Cinque" Freeman,
An active member of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of
Texas. I am married
to a beautiful woman who has been my wife for over twenty-three wonderful years.
We share a joint passion for the love of motorcycles, the wind in our face and
the open road. I purchased by first motorcycle in the summer of 1971,
305cc Honda twin.
I am a veteran of the Vietnam War, where
I served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, 2nd Bn. B Co. 503rd Inf. Upon return to stateside, I became a “Screamin Eagle”
and Drill Instructor. I also serviced in the Army National Guard in “Co. F, 425th Rangers” for six years.
I live to carry on the heritage of our predecessors, the original “Buffalo Soldiers.”
I am a member in good standing in the “ Military Order of the Purple Heart Association, Travelers Lodge No. #146,
Prince Hall F&A.M. Masonic Lodge, and the 9th and 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association.
I am extremely proud of my African heritage and have spent many hours in
conducting research into our stolen legacy. I firmly believe that one must be
part of the "Solution" not part of the "Problem" in order to better our
community.
For the "Road" my "Iron Horse" is a
2003 Goldwing, but for the city and short trips my "Iron Horse" is a 2003
Yamaha Road Star Silverado - Limited Edition. On both of these "Iron Horses" I
am currently in the process of "customizing " and bestowing
distinct "personality". This process is truly a task of both love and
patience.
