President’s Message
Buffalo Soldiers!  Buffalo Soldiers! Buffalo Soldiers!
And it’s all-GOOD!

I find this chant so intriguing when I think of all that’s happened. To think that just a few short years ago, I received this burning desire to purchase my first motorcycle. Not 45 days later I, by chance, met another motorcyclist who befriended me on the spot.

From there, we both find out that we had identified a motorcycle club that was doing good in the world. We made a pact to pursue membership and the rest has become Houston BSTMC folklore.

President’s Message” continues from above

Your Vice President Leon “Grasshopper” Sanford and I blazed a trail while not really knowing how big the journey was really going to be. We are both grateful to have been used for this purpose. I will always be indebted to Grasshopper because he has not only been a great Leader but also a close personal friend and confidant to me.

Now, it is time for us to step aside and allow our Chapter to grow with the new energy that is amongst us. We shall do so with integrity. I am a believer in the philosophy that one can stunt growth by standing in the way and promote growth by stepping aside.

I wish to thank Cinque, Whop, Gopher, Old School, and Coop for their loyal service as past and present Executive Officers in this administration. In addition, thanks to those members in non-executive officer positions (Bushman as Road Captain, Hawk as Chaplain, Big O as assistant Chaplain and Doc as Business Manager. Please know that I appreciate your value to the grand scheme of things in Houston.

By the time you read this message, Houston will have a new administration. One that will continue the legacy of our chapter and the National body. I ask that you give each of our officers the focus you have given me. Remember, “This is our club” It not yours or mine, it’s ours to share and to decide things democratically. To go with the majority decisions with all of the vigor one can muster. So, when the dust settles and the smoke clears, we shall see our accomplishments and know that GOD is pleased.

On behalf of Honey “B” and myself thanks for allowing me to serve as your President
